چکیده
Abstract The cosmic web contains filamentary structure on a wide range of scales. On the largest scales, superclustering aligns multiple galaxy clusters along intercluster bridges, visible through their thermal Sunyaev–Zel’dovich signal in microwave background. We demonstrate new, flexible method to analyze hot gas from multiscale extended structures. use Compton y -map Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) stacked redMaPPer cluster positions optical Dark Energy Survey (DES). Cutout images are oriented with large-scale information DES data such that is aligned before being overlaid. find evidence an quadrupole moment at 3.5 σ level, demonstrating energy surrounding anisotropically distributed. compare our ACT × results Buzzard simulations, finding broad agreement. Using we highlight promise this novel technique for constraining evolution anisotropic, non-Gaussian using future combinations and surveys.

Evidence for dark energy from the cosmic microwave background alone using the Atacama Cosmology Telescope lensing measurements.
For the first time, measurements of the cosmic microwave background radiation (CMB) alone favor cosmologies with w = -1 dark energy over models without dark energy at a 3.2-sigma level. We demonstrate this by combining the CMB lensing deflection power spectrum from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope with temperature and polarization power spectra from the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe. The ...
متن کاملThe Atacama Cosmology Telescope
The Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) project is described. This multi-institution collaboration aims to produce arcminute-resolution and micro-Kelvin sensitivity maps of the microwave background temperature over 200 square degrees of the sky in three frequency bands. We give a brief overview of the scientific motivations for such a map, followed by a design outline of our six-meter custom tele...
متن کاملTelescope : Evidence for Past Deceleration and Constraints on Dark Energy
We have discovered 16 Type Ia supernovae (SNe Ia) with the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) and have used them to provide the first conclusive evidence for cosmic deceleration that preceded the current epoch of cosmic acceleration. These objects, discovered during the course of the GOODS ACS Treasury program, include 6 of the 7 highest-redshift SNe Ia known, all at z > 1.25, and populate the Hubble...
متن کاملCosmology and Dark Energy: Theory
We present a very brief and incomplete overview of the on-going theoretical activity aiming at providing an explanation for the (at least apparent) acceleration of the universe. We discuss the issue of the cosmological constant amplitude, describe some inhomogeneous cosmology models, present some quintessence and other dark energy models, and say a few words on non-minimal gravity. We mention t...
متن کاملSupersymmetric Cosmology and Dark Energy
Using the superfield approach we construct the n = 2 supersymmetric lagrangian for the FRW Universe with perfect fluid as matter fields. The obtained supersymmetric algebra allowed us to take the square root of the Wheeler-DeWitt equation and solve the corresponding quantum constraint. This model leads to the relation between the vacuum energy density and the energy density of the dust matter.
